This year see’s 50 years of the Playboy Bunny. Here in Europe there is an official troupe that can be hired out to grace your venue or event with utter fluffy bunny loveliness. Four of those bunnies came in to shoot for Playboy France to celebrate. Along with the bunnies the Scorching Image crew were drafted in to build the set and produce the images.
We started by building two huge numbers, 8′ high and 4′ wide and strong enough for everyone to interact with on the day. Framed out, covered and weighted so as they didn’t fall over or need securing at the top. Of course with these nutty girls it was always going to be good to keep someone around to catch them, just in case. (ed. But they were very well behaved on the day, well except Logan, I am sure she has mental stability issues, oh a nice bum ). With the number built it was just a case of getting everyone in, shooting and shooting images to cover the 8 pages.
Obviously, this is for Playboy, nudity required, we won’t be posting those shots here, but there are two galleries attached to this post. One with the behind the scenes carnage and one with the finished (non-nude) images.
It was a great day shooting, all filmed by the extraordinary talents of Dan Poole, an amazing Videographer and Actor. (ed. Is that a blatent plug for Dan? Seriously, he’s a nice guy and all, but please . ahh sod it, he is cool ). 4 Bunnies, 2 Makeup Artists, 2 Assistants, 1 Wardrobe Stylist and Dave Wise behind the lens. Loads going on and being done, staggered shooting and rotation of wardrobe. Everyone was busy from start to finish.
(ed. I know you said you were busy, but I found these pictures, I am not sure these constitute being busy?)
Check out the rest of the behind the scenes photos to see the girls doing their thing, Dave doing his thing and Dan doing his. It was a great day of shooting, some great images produced and all for a very special occasion.
Here are the full Behind the Scenes images
Here are the final shots (ed. Minus the nude ones that is)
