When you normally drop onto the site you are presented with a pretty look into our world.
The usual pretty interface
We thought about this long and hard. Ok, Dave did and here was his thinking. Dave has an iPhone; Dave knows what the site looks like; Dave wants to be able to see quickly and comments and posts; surely other people must want that to. So, we have added a new way of viewing the site for all of those other people out there with an iPhone and who do not want to see all the pretty stuff.
Scroll down to the bottom of the front page when you first visit the site and there is a little sliding switch labelled “Mobile Theme”, Turn it on! (ed. wow, complicated stuff)

There you go, a whole new way of looking at the site and the postings on it, less pretty;easier mobile usage. Of course you can just turn it off again if you really want the pretty stuff or the other interesting features of the site.
